About Keystone Special Needs Ministry

At Keystone we believe in making disciples of all nations by making the Gospel accessible to all. Our mission is to love and lead people in a growing relationship with Jesus - this includes our kids, students, and adults with disabilities. We desire to partner with you to include, support, and help those impacted by disabilities to find belonging here at Keystone.

The following ministries are offered on a weekly basis and are designed to support our students with special needs. 

One-2-One is our program for children and students with special needs.   After learning more about your child, a Buddy is selected to partner with them as they participate in the Keystone Kids (Birth - 5th Grade) during 9:00am or 10:30am services on Sunday morning or Lumen8 (6th-12th grade), 5:30pm-8:00pm on Sunday night.

Keystone Friends is our program for individuals with special needs ages 6th grade* to Young Adult.  Helping us understand your student or young adult, allows us to better cater to their individual needs as they participate in the Keystone Friends program on Sundays at 10:30 AM.

*We invite our middle + high school friends to Keystone Friends as well so parents/caregivers can participate in the Sunday Morning Worship Experience.

How To Get Started

If you are ready to have your child participate in any of these programs, here's how to get started:
  • Complete the Keystone Friends: Special Needs Ministry Registration, and a member of the Special Needs Ministry Team will contact you back.
  • Once we receive the form, our team will call you to connect, ask any questions they may have, and walk you through the rest of the process.
  • In many cases, we will ask parents/caregivers to join us the very first Sunday so they can experience the environment alongside their child/student/adult with disabilities to help set their buddy/our team/our friend up for the win!
